It was 1.30 am by the time I made it to my foster home.... I gave lots of kisses all the way there... was slightly verbal at times..... but wasn't allowed to sit on my drivers lap.... I can't think why not.
This was my foster mummy Abigail and my foster daddy David. They have 2 other dogs Laski and Bertie. I was not used to being in a house so had several accidents to start with.
I was taken to the groomers - Omi Wan-Kenobi.... she had never seen such bad matting in her whole career as a groomer....
I must admit I didn't smell too nice.
I had sores everywhere, that were weeping and some were infected too.
I felt so uncomfortable, but I didn't complain.
After hours and hours of grooming my matted fur was no better...
After taking advise from Saints and the vets it was decided all of my matted coat had to go.....
to be able to treat my skin underneath.
The lady who clipped me was Maxine Boulton at A Cut Above
I did look a little silly, with such a huge head and feet.
I had to borrow a t-shirt to keep me warm.... do you know how cold it is without fur.... no wonder my humans wear so many clothes!
This is me in my posh coat
And this is me chilling with the guys...
I was still a complete dog, which needed addressing ( I didn't know it was bad manors to hump people and other dogs ), but the surgery was put off because I had really bad kennel cough.
I finally had my surgery .... and was put in the cone of shame... what more can a poor boy go through??
I was a tad sore..... just airing the wound..... honest..... and not trying to make mummy feel guilty!
My fur has started to grow back and I look like a cuddly little lamb. The sad day came when I had to leave my foster mum and dad. I loved them very much and thank them for everything they did for me.

More of my adventures to follow....
